Bi-Lo doubles coupons up to sixty cents. Publix doubles up to fifty cents. Ingles doubles up to fifty cents as well. However, the way that Ingles has their policy means that I don't do coupon deals there. I do get my meats from Ingles when they go on sale. Food Lion has ran triple coupon promotions occassionally throughout the past; I do not look for them to come back around anytime soon though.
Coupons start with one of two barcode numbers. It is either a '5' or a '9'. If it is a '5' then the coupon doubles. If it is a '9' then it will not double.
If you are shopping at Bi-Lo, Ingles, Publix or Food Lion and they have buy one-get one free promotions, you can get just one of the item at half price. You do not have to purchase two in order to take advantage of the sale. Same thing goes with a '10 for 10 sale' (Bi-Lo is famous for these sales!). You can get 2 for 2 or 5 for 5; they each ring up at $1.
